What do you know...

Dr Christian Jessen is a doctor (obviously) who does lots of TV shows over here. Supersize V Superskinny and Embarrassing bodies to name a few. Anyway, he's been on Sunday Brunch this morning and i was really shocked to hear that he suffers from BDD (and that's he gay! My gaydar is usually spot on, but i missed him...Good for you Doc) He hates his body. He see's himself as the skinny teenager he once was, but clearly he's not.

People know i have BDD and whether you choose to believe me or not i don't care. I have been pulled up before on making YT videos (despite there being lots of other sufferers on there doing the same) or taking pictures of myself. What *YOU* don't realise is how many photos i have taken and deleted to get ONE that i can bare.... or how many times i make videos and delete them because i hate the way i look. I NEVER ask for people to say anything about my appearance - i never seek approval from my readers, for you to compliment me, that is not what BDD is about. Whatever people say whether its good (i don't believe it) and if it's bad, then it reaffirms what i think.

Dr. Christian is displaying his naked chest despite having BDD and on his website GALLERY there are even more pictures of him wearing little/nothing. So this is the question... Because the Doctor is baring his flesh, does that make him a fraud? Does that make him a liar and that he doesn't really have BDD?

Another few celebs who are regularly in front of a camera, wearing not much.... Uma Thurman, Lily Allen, Sarah Michelle Geller and of course Michael Jackson. Are all these liars too and just wanting people to say they look good? Unlikely.
