Bluebell...

...is in a bad way. She is unable to walk. Very lethargic/shivering/panting..., she is not moving at all. Vets in a minute. This is killing me.... :( :( :(

UPDATE:- She is at home, but can't/won't move. Crate rest for a week, anti-inflammatory medication along with painkillers. Looks like she's hurt her little back. It's heartbreaking to not have my shadow next to me, instead, she's laying pretty much lifeless in her crate, not even reacting when i speak to her. So sad for my little girl...

ANOTHER UPDATE:- Listless. Not responding at all. Won't eat chicken.... I think i am going to have to take her back :(

YET ANOTHER UPDDATE:- My puppy DID just get up for a wee.... Now she's back in her crate.

Oh Hun.....Im crossing my fingers, toes, legs, and anythuing else I can for you both. I hope she is ok...I dont know much about dogs BUT it sounds like flu to me.....Anyway let us know how she gets on x x x

Hi. Sorry for not replying.

Um...the vet said just to wait and see how she is - but i KNOW my pup, and she's really sick. Saying this, she has got medication in her system so there is little more they can do for her. Just wait and see i guess. Think it's going to be a LONG night.

Hope you're doing okay :)

:( Oh poor little Bluebell! I DO know how horrible it feel when your beloved treasured dog gets sick and you feel so helpless to make them better. So sorry Sarah. Hope that she gets well again very soon. Sending big hugs and lots of love to you both.

Thanks Sweetness.

She has not improved plus she hasn't had a drink all day... :(

Don't know what to do now as the vets are shut until Monday.

What did they think was wrong? You mentioned her back, she's not slipped a disk do you think?

If she's not had a drink by tomorrow then maybe you could call the emergency vet or look for another which opens on a saturday. They open here so guess others will where you are. Oh good grief! What a worry! Please keep us updated sweetheart. ((hugs))

oh Sarah big hugs to you . I've been wondering all night how she has been.....I bet you have been awake most of the night worrying!?

I've been awake ALL night, making sure she is okay. She is walking around a bit more, but still isn't eating or drinking :(

Got to find something yummy when i'm up the town for her to eat with her medication... It's GOT to be taken with food, i hope she'll eat when i get home. Little bit scared of leaving her alone, but i've got to, so i can get her something.

A friend of mine yesterday pointed out what a person had written on their blog about being agoraphobic. Said person is an EX agoraphobic...this is what was said. "Agoraphobia is a selfish state of mind. Its completely "curable", and yet some people just wallow in their own self-pity and will never ever get over themselves and recover. When you are so worried about yourself all the time, how can you possibly be a good mother to someone else? Or a good wife/girlfriend/friend? I've unfortunately been the agoraphobic, and I've been the agoraphobics friend. As the friend, it was miserable. Nothing was ever about anything else but them. It was annoying and frustrating. And completely in their hands to change it, but they wouldn't. Because they're too selfish and self centered. Those aren't qualities people like in a person." Opinions please?

It DID get worse..

...now there's a shocker! I have spent the entire evening in hospital. We had to call an ambulance, these feelings in my heart were insane. I was sat in the back on the ambulance and they did all my obs. I was tachycardic, my BP was really high (usually its stupid low) and my ECG was showing Atrial fibrillation, meaning the top two chambers of my heart are beating faster than the bottom two. I was put on oxygen as well because my breathing was a little bit crappy. The medic man stuck a candular in my hand and hit a valve apparently, my hand swelled up in seconds, it was so painful. Got to the hospital and did all the necessary things and then we had to wait...and wait...and wait. Where they'd stuck that needle in the back of my hand and hit the valve, it started going dead. I couldn't feel 4 of my fingers! I called to get someone to take the bugger out. I'm left with a lovely bit blue bruise this morning. My step-father was called to pick us up because we thoug...
