My boyfriend has asked me to meet his mother. On Sunday. His mother lives 20 miles away. Dual carriage way the whole way. Meaning, no quick escape. I'm pooping myself. What the fuck do i do?

Why don't you have a sort of trial run tomorrow and Saturday night (when its quiet), maybe go a bit further on Saturday and see how you are? It should also give you a chance to get used to your route and new surroundings. Sunday traffic shouldn't be too bad either.

Just talk to him on the way about how youre feeling, what youre going through. Pick a code word for when you're struggling perhaps?

Im pretty useless with ideas as I can't face going to Simons Mums, I think thats about 35-40miles away.. Ive not been there for well over a year, it could even be 2 years.

You'll be fine though :)

Good advice Nikki! Its a bit of short notice, so maybe you can offer to TRY to get to his mother's place. Work with him to make a few trial runs to see how it goes, but explain that given where you are it might be unrealistic to be able to get there with only a few days to prepare. Whats the worst case? You make your very best effort and you don't actually get to his mother's, but you're still improving with each trial run, right? If you do it, I bet you will ultimately get to visit him mom with him sooner rather than later.

Dilemma...

I don't know what to do... So confused with it all. I have just called the boyfriend after not speaking to him since 8 this morning (he's off sick) to see if he was okay and i got ANOTHER mouthful... The last month...

Over the last month i have been diagnosed with severe anemia, had my 39th birthday, school broke up for the holidays, i stabbed myself through the finger with a dinner knife (not even a sharp one), but deep enough to have all the fat tissue hanging out, shave off the top off my little finger and have a round of botox and fillers............. That's all.
