WHAT!?

Took a little trip to the doctors yesterday because i had a lump come up about 4 weeks ago in my forearm. Apparently its a cyst that needs to be 'kept an eye on'..... While i was there i thought i might just mention my shakiness. How i wake up every morning feeling like i've spent the night holding a pneumatic drill... Anyway, he looked at me and said "I think we might send you to the mental health team............". NOT what i was expecting. Fucker.

I wasn't even acting mental mental chicken oriental..... I don't get it.... I dunno....

So today is my 36th birthday. I am fucking miserable, pissed off, down, stressed and have been up since goodness knows when.... Fabulous.

That's a bit rude, reminds me of when my doctor insisted i was depressed and we almost got into an argument about it!

Happy Birthday by the way, i hope your day picks up and you start feeling better. Have you got any plans for today? are you going to try Bluewater? xxxxxxxxxx

Happy Birthday!!

I have the shaking thing too. Mine is usually worse when I'm going to sleep though. Oddly enough I don't worry too much about it, I usually put it down to anxiety. Seeing my doctor is pretty pointless anyway - everything gets put down to anxiety!

Don't worry about being referred to the mental health team - I was referred to them a couple of months ago because of the increase in my anxiety and I'm now seeing a psychologist. Just bear in mind that 'mental health' covers panic attacks, anxiety, depression OCD etc and everyone experiences this at some point.

I hate seeing people get down. Anxiety is hard enough at the best of times and being down makes it a million times harder. I know it's difficult but try and focus on everything postive you've achieved lately - and there's been some amazing things you've managed! - You even have the videos to watch!

I hope you feel better soon! x

Thank you!

The shaking thing, on the outside you can't see it, it's all internal, most strange. It's been happening off and on since 2007, but its every day now....

I'm not too bothered about being sent to the MHT, it was just the way he said it, plus, i have asked millions of times before and nothing... Now, they WANT me to go :)

I get the shaking thing too, its either one of three: worse when Ive not drank enough (water that is!!), when Im over tired or when Im due on. One thing is a guarantee - when Im anxious.. but with one, some, or all of the above its much much worse.

Did you ask him to go into more detail as to why?

I find it really hard to accept its health anxiety for me, because the panic used to feel like a panic, now its like Im genuinely ill with it.. Maybe its just worn me down and has more of an effect on me.. or I am ill.. lol

Anyway, Happy Birthday Mrs. Have a lovely day :)
